There are some new and returning activities for our junior supporters to get involved in at Saturday’s game.
We welcome Ebbsfleet United to the Crown Oil Arena for our 2023/24 season opener.

DESMOND’S LAIR
New for this season is Desmond’s Lair, which will be located inside the Ratcliffe Bar before the game.
There will be a PS4 with FIFA, a pool table, as well as arts and crafts for the youngsters to get involved with.
The Ratcliffe opens from 2pm, with The Lair opening at 3.30pm. All activities are free to get involved with.
DESMOND’S DEN
Desmond’s Den is also back for the new season. This continues to be in Our Spot Community Hub, inside the Smith Metals Family Stand, which opens at 4.30pm.

KICK PITCH ACTIVITIES
From 4pm, there will activities on the club’s five-a-side pitch to youngsters to get involved with.
Our Rochdale AFC Community Trust coaches will be on-hand to oversee 3-v-3 mini-games, a penalty shootout competition, and an inflatable target competition!
MATCHDAY CLUB
New for this season is the Rochdale AFC Matchday Youth Club. Children aged 10-13, who wouldn’t normally be able to attend fixtures without an accompanying adult, can now attend with like-minded youngsters, with Rochdale AFC Community Trust’s chaperoning service.

SEATS FOR SCHOOLS
We’re excited to welcome a host of local primary schools to Saturday’s game!
It is the launch of our Seats For Schools initiative, which has seen us issue primary schools in the Borough with four free tickets for each of our home matches in the 2023/24 campaign.
They will be situated in the Smith Metals Family Stand.

FACE PAINTING
There will be free face painting for youngsters on the One Stop Bus, from 4.30pm to 5.15pm.
DALE VS HUNGER
Our Dale Vs Hunger campaign continues and, as ever, needs donations.
The foodbank drop-off point is on the One Stop Bus, which will be staffed from 4.30pm.
MASCOTS / BALL CREW / FLAG BEARERS
Ramsbottom Rapids Under-10s and Milnrow Dynamos Under-12s are our official mascots for this weekend’s game!
They will be walking out with the teams ahead of kick-off, live on TNT Sports.
