The club is pleased to report that at an Extraordinary General Meeting held last night (17th November 2022), shareholders have unanimously passed resolutions to increase the authorised share capital of the club and allow creation of new shares.
450,000 new shares have been created and will be sold at not less than £2.35 a share, the most recent market transaction price at which shares have been traded. Applications for these new shares are open to all our existing shareholders who may wish to increase their current shareholdings, and all other supporters of the club who would like to become shareholders for the first time.
There had been over 60 individual expressions of interest prior to the EGM meeting which will now be followed up by the club. If any current shareholder or supporter would like to contact the club to subscribe to this share issue, then please contact shares@rochdaleafc.co.uk at the earliest opportunity and the club will be in touch to discuss and progress your application. The minimum share purchase is 100 shares.
All AGM resolutions were also unanimously passed by shareholder vote and members of the Board of Directors, Simon Gauge (Chairman), Guy Courtney, Murray Knight (Supporters Trust Representative), Richard Knight, Tony Pockney, Jamie Sarsfield and Jan Wormald were all unanimously re-elected to continue to serve on the Board.
Andrew Kelly has now retired from the Board and, following a vote of thanks proposed by shareholders for his service to the club, becomes a Life Vice President.
