The Youth Team picked up a point in a 1-1 draw at Blackpool on Saturday in their first game back after the New Year.
Jordan Scanlon put Dale ahead midway through the opening the period, but the Seasiders drew level 15 minutes before full-time to deny the visitors all three points.
Dale had the first opportunity when Anisio Jesus crossed for Scanlon, who saw a shot well saved by the Blackpool goalkeeper.
At the other end, Dale stopper Ellis Craven made a low one-on-one save to keep the score goalless.
Jesus and Scanlon combined again shortly afterwards though, with the latter sending a controlled volley into the back of the net from just inside the area.
Kacper Mialkowski sent a well-executed overhead kick narrowly wide just before the break, as Dale took a narrow lead into the break.
There weren’t many chances for either side after the interval, but Blackpool did force an equaliser when Jake Daniels rounded Craven and slotted into an empty net.
Dale had a couple of chances towards the end to restore the lead through Peter Thomas and Max Sutton, but neither could find the back of the net.
