TVOS Preview | Hartlepool United

16 April 2022

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Monday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Hartlepool United.

The programme took a break during the behind closed doors 2020/21 campaign, but has returned this season with 76 jam-packed pages to keep readers completely informed and entertained.

TVOS starts with a front cover image of Luke Charman, who has made a big impression on supporters since joining Dale from Darlington in January.

Manager Robbie Stockdale reflects on the home win over Walsall and the support given to the team recently, while Countdown to Kick-Off looks at the most played game between two current EFL clubs – Rochdale v Hartlepool United!

After that we have a host of features, including:

SHIRT NUMBERS, HEAVEN & HELL – A feature looking at players who wore shirt numbers that didn’t suit their position in 2015/16

ON THIS DAY – What were Dale doing in the past on 18th April?

100 YEARS IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE – The penultimate instalment of the series looking back at Dale’s debut Football League campaign in 1921/22

COVER STAR – Looking at when former Dale defender Paul McShane was featured on the cover of a Hull City programme

We also have our regular League Two round-up and opinion pages from Brian Quigley, Scrutator and Dave Pearson, while Charlotte and Isabelle bring us the female perspective from Hartlepool fan Kate in The Dale Way.

Action photos appear from the games against Leyton Orient and Mansfield Town, while the Commercial and Sponsorship departments at the club update readers with their latest news and initiatives.

Liam Kelly reveals who is the best opponent he has faced and we have our regular historical pages looking at Dale’s results in this week in the past.

Hartlepool United aren’t left out and get plenty of coverage, including a round-up of their current form, player profiles and historical connections between Dale and The Pool.

All this and much, much more will be in Monday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
