Rochdale AFC are pleased to announce that Chris Harrison has joined the Club’s Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Chris, who has a strong finance background in blue-chip and PLC organisations, will begin in the role with immediate effect.
On his appointment, Chairman Simon Gauge said: “I am delighted to welcome Chris as an unpaid Non-Executive Director of the Board at Rochdale Football Club.
“We have been moving forward with a clear strategy to have a Board with the skills and experience to drive revenues, control costs and enable us to flourish as a fan owned, sustainably run Football Club.
“Chris clearly has the leadership and financial skills to enhance our Board, as well as bringing real benefits to our club.
“I am really pleased with the strength we now have at boardroom level, amongst the staff and on the football side of the club.
“I am really excited to see how we can develop and grow the club in years to come, to achieve success both on and off the pitch.”
Chris commented: “Simon and the rest of the Board have set out a clear direction for Rochdale AFC to be a sustainably run club, set at the heart of the local community, which is focused on our supporters, staff, sponsors and stakeholders, as well as always seeking to provide continuous improvement to those we serve.
