Pick Up A Copy Of Saturday's Matchday Programme

21 October 2021

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Sutton United.

The programme took a break during the behind closed doors 2020/21 campaign, but has returned this season with 76 jam-packed pages to keep readers completely informed and entertained.

The new-look TVOS starts with a front cover image of Danny Cashman, who has become a popular figure among Dale fans since joining us on loan from Coventry in the summer.

Manager Robbie Stockdale looks back at the Swindon and Salford matches, while Chairman Simon Gauge brings fans up-to-date with the latest Dale news.

After that we have a host of features, including:

SHIRT NUMBERS, HEAVEN & HELL – A feature looking at players who did and some who didn’t look right in shirt number eight.

COVER STAR – Looking at when a former Dale player appeared on the front cover of another club’s programme.

MY BEST OPPONENT – Dale goalkeeper Joel Coleman tells us who is the best player he’s faced.

SHARED SHIRTS – Profiling the two players who have played for both Dale and Sutton.

ON THIS DAY – What were Dale doing in the past on 23rd October?

100 YEARS IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE – Part 5 of a comprehensive feature looking back at Dale’s debut season in the Football League 100 years ago.

DALES OF THE UNEXPECTED – An unusual story about when Dale’s team appeared on a BBC1 quiz show!

We have our regular League Two round-up and opinion columns from Brian Quigley and Scrutator and with Saturday being Dale’s first game against Sutton United, a couple of quirky, one-off article linking the two clubs – sort of!

Action photos appear from the games against Port Vale and Tranmere, while Ryan Bradley and Siobhan McElhinney bring readers their news from the Rochdale AFC Community Trust.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
