Prostate Cancer Testing Day To Take Place At The Crown Oil Arena On 23rd October

18 October 2021

A Prostate Cancer Testing Day is taking place at the Crown Oil Arena later this Saturday, in conjunction with the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (BKPCA).

It’ll be held in the Study Centre on Willbutts Lane before Dale’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Sutton United, on October 23rd, from 11am-2.30pm.

We are encouraging men over the age of 50 (or 45 with a history of prostate cancer in their family) to return for their 12-month test, along with those who have not had the test yet, to know your score. The test measures the amount of prostate-specific antigen (PSA) in your blood.

This year, supporters will need to book in advance. You can do this online > PSA Testing Events @ BKPCA - The Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (mypsatests.org.uk).

Those being tested will be asked for a donation of £10 on the day to go towards the cost of the test, which is £25.
