Preview | Bolton Wanderers (H) - Papa John's Trophy

2 November 2021

Rochdale vs Bolton Wanderers | Papa John's Trophy Group D, Tuesday 2nd November, Crown Oil Arena, 7pm Kick-Off

Our final Papa John's Trophy group fixture takes place on Tuesday night, as we welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Crown Oil Arena.

Supporters can purchase tickets for Tuesday night's game right up until kick-off via our online ticketing website.

Tickets are priced at just £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.

Simply buy online and scan the ticket, which will be emailed to you, at the turnstiles upon arrival! You can either scan the email direct from your phone, or print off your ticket at home to scan on the night.

There are no cash turnstiles at the Crown Oil Arena, due to the ground now having automatic turnstiles.

In circumstances where you can only purchase from the Ticket Office, please do not leave this until the last minute. Our new ticketing system requires the details of all purchasers to be stored on our system, so it will take time to process your details and issue your match ticket. Therefore, to avoid delaying your entry to the ground further, please allow plenty of time to visit the Ticket Office.

Turnstiles open an hour before kick-off at 6pm.

Dale are currently second in Northern Group D, with Bolton in first after two wins from two.

Three points for Robbie Stockdale's men will see Dale go above the Wanderers and qualify for the knockout stage.

If Dale do not win, we will be dependant on the result from the Port Vale against Liverpool Under-21s game (to be played on Tuesday 9th November), as both of those teams can jump above us in the standings.

The gaffer confirmed that captain Eoghan O'Connell will miss the game after sustaining a cut to his ankle in the win at Barrow, whilst Jim McNulty will miss out again with a fractured toe.

There was more positive news on striker Josh Andrews, who is now in the final stage of his return to play schedule. He could be back in training towards the end of this week, but Sunday's Emirates FA Cup tie against Notts County could just be too soon for him.
