We round off our feature on Rochdale AFC Community Trust's 'Communities United' programme by introducing Scott Smith and family!
Scott, along with partner and Trust Manager Siobhan McElhinney and their two nieces, has been taking part in the sessions from the beginning.
The project aims to break down stereotypes, find common values and work together to boost civic pride and show people what can be achieved when working together.
Scott said: “It has been wonderful getting to know all the families and hearing their views and thoughts about the different cultures and the diverse world we live in.
“Coming from a traditional white British family, this has really opened up my eyes and made me proud to be part of this modern world.
“It has given me a better understanding of our community and that we all have our part to play in making things better.”
