Ahead of Tuesday night’s pre-season friendly against Rotherham United at the Crown Oil Arena, 7pm kick-off, we’ve put together a spectator’s guide for supporters.
In line with government guidelines and following consultation with our local Safety Advisory Group, this game will see the return of a 100% capacity stadium!
The Main Stand, Smith Metals Family Stand and Sandy Lane stand will all be open to home supporters, whilst the Reside Estate Agency Stand will house visiting Rotherham fans.
Prices are as follows:
Adults - £10;
Concession - £5
TICKETS
Supporters are reminded that the Crown Oil Arena no longer operates cash turnstiles, due to a barcoded entry system now being in place. All tickets must be purchased in advance.
Tickets will be on sale ONLINE until 6.30pm on the day of the game HERE.
You can buy in person or over the phone until 5pm. Call 01706 644648 (option 1).
We recommend and advise buying your tickets online. It's straight forward and easy, and you can save your e-ticket directly to your phone to scan at the turnstile if you don't have a printer at home to print off your ticket
TURNSTILES
The Crown Oil Arena turnstiles will be open from 6pm on Tuesday, one hour before kick-off.
At the turnstiles, supporters will have to scan the barcode on their digital or physical ticket at the automated scanner. Once your ticket is accepted, the light will turn green and you will be able to enter through the turnstile as normal.
Once inside the stadium, supporters must sit in the seat which is assigned on their ticket.
FACE COVERINGS
Following the relaxation of rules on face coverings from Monday 19th July, there is no requirement for supporters to wear one on Tuesday night. However, we urge all supporters to act responsibly when coming into contact with others.
REFRESHMENTS
The kiosks at the Crown Oil Arena will be shut for the game. Supporters are advised to bring their own refreshments. However, please note that cans will not be permitted into the stadium and any plastic bottles will require the lid removing prior to entry. Bags will be searched by stewards upon entry to the stadium. Any items that are surrendered will be donated to the Community Trust’s food pantry (details HERE).
The Ratcliffe Bars will be open from 5pm. With government guidelines relaxed from Monday 19th, there will be no requirement to be seated or for table service to be in operation. However, as with face coverings, we would urge all supporters to be responsible when coming into contact with others. The bar will be open at half-time through the rear gates of The Ratcliffe, to those in both the Main Stand and the Sandy Lane, and will also be open for an hour after the game.
Due to the kiosks being closed, the Ratcliffe Bars will remain open throughout the game, to allow supporters from the Main Stand and Sandy Lane ends the opportunity to purchase cold drinks.
The Carlsberg Lounge will be open from 5pm, and, in keeping with the Ratcliffe Bars, this will also remain open during the game for supporters to purchase cold drinks. In the Carlsberg Lounge, only draft beer, soft drinks and water will be available. Supporters are reminded that alcohol cannot be taken from the bar outside into the stadium.
In addition, the bar in the Reside Estate Agency stand will be open for away fans to purchase bottled water only up until the end of half-time.
HOSPITALITY GUESTS
Supporters booked in for hospitality in the 1907 Lounge for the game should enter through the Main Reception as usual.
CLUB SHOP
The RAFC Club Shop will be open before the game, giving supporters the chance to purchase our 2021/22 kits in-person for the first time!
Pop in-store from 4pm until kick-off. The shop will be open after the match for a short time.
SEASON CARDS
Fans can buy Season Cards from 9am-5pm on Tuesday, either in person or over the phone by calling 01706 644648 (option 1). You can buy online 24/7 HERE.
Don’t forget that Season Cards will only be available for collection during the first two weeks in August.
PROGRAMMES
There will be no programmes on sale for Tuesday’s friendly. The Voice Of Spotland will return at our first home game of the league season against Scunthorpe United on Saturday 14th August.
LEAVING THE STADIUM
We would kindly ask that all supporters, when leaving the stadium, do so in a responsible manner.

The match will not be live streamed.
