Ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Newport County, we would like to confirm our matchday protocols at the Crown Oil Arena following the Government’s ‘Plan B’ announcement.
COVID-19 Certification
As we are venue with less than 10,000 seated spectators, and less than 4,000 unseated spectators attending fixtures, COVID-19 certification will not be required when attending the Crown Oil Arena under current guidelines. Therefore, at present, there will be no requirement to show vaccination status or a recent negative test to enter the stadium.
Face coverings and face masks
Supporters, unless medically exempt, should wear a face covering or face mask when entering the stadium and when moving around the ground.
You do not need to wear a face covering or mask once seated, or once you take position in the Sandy Lane. However, whilst it is not mandatory to wear a face covering or mask when viewing the game, they are encouraged.
Face coverings or masks should also be worn, unless exempt, in indoor areas of the stadium. This includes when queuing at the kiosks, in the toilets, or while visiting the Club Shop and Ticket Office.
Hospitality and bars
Under current Government guidance, face coverings and masks are not required in hospitality venues where food and drink are consumed (such as pubs, cafés and restaurants).
Whilst hospitality guests do not need to wear a face covering or mask whilst inside the 1907 Lounge, we do ask that they are worn, unless exempt, on arrival to the ground.
Face covering and masks do not need to worn in Our Spot or the Ratcliffe Bars, however they are encouraged.
Thank you
We will always endeavour to keep supporters updated on any further guidance that may change/ affect the above information.
We thank you for your understanding and co-operation.
