Rochdale AFC are pleased to announce the second quarter donation from Dale Lotto has seen a 50% growth!
The donation for the second quarter period of November 2020 - January 2021 is £7,500, an increase of £2,500 from the previous quarter.
These vital funds will be used to support the Rochdale AFC Academy who were winners of the Northern Youth Alliance Cup last week, after beating Grimsby Town 3-1 and will now play Gillingham in the National Final (date TBC), and also the Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal (BKPCA) who will receive just over £300 as part of the Charity partner donation.
Dale Lotto was restarted last August after all door-to-door collections had to be suspended because of Covid-19. Since then, staff have worked hard to encourage members to sign up to electronic payment in order to re-start the lottery.
The club’s Commercial Director, Frances Fielding said: “We are pleased with the steady progress Dale Lotto continues to make. Our matchday half time draws are now running successfully online, and initiatives such as our Christmas Draw have helped boost sales. We have paid out over £10K in prize money during the last quarter so not only are vital funds being raised for the RAFC Academy and BKPCA, but we are also bringing some joy to our prize winners.”
Dale Lotto pays out a minimum of £250 cash prize money every week. The weekly rollover is currently standing at £3,500 and is waiting to be won. A winner must be drawn after next week, so a minimum of £3,500 will be won!
