Keaton Mulvey scored Mossley AFC’s winner in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round on Tuesday night.
The on-loan Dale man smashed home a close-range effort late on to give his side a 2-1 win over Ramsbottom United, sealing their place in the hat for the Second Qualifying Round.
It was Mulvey’s third start for the Lilywhites, having featured in their wins against St Helens Town (3-0; FA Cup Qualifying Preliminary Round) and Ossett United (2-0; Northern Premier League North West Division).
Mossley take on Pickering Town in their next league game at Seel Park on Saturday.
