Dale's Emirates FA Cup campaign begins at home to Stockport County on Saturday.

Brian Barry-Murphy's men reached the third round of the competition last season, earning a replay against Premier League Newcastle United.

The Hatters were originally knocked out of this year's competition, before their fourth qualifying round tie against Chesterfield was ordered to be replayed, after the Spireites were found to field an ineligible player.

County currently sit second in the National League table, with four wins from their first seven games.

COMPETITION RULES

There will be no replays in the Emirates FA Cup this season.

Should the game end in a draw, extra-time and penalties (if needed) will be required to determine the winner of the tie.
