Fans across the globe will be able to visit our online Club Shop (www.rafcshop.co.uk) and with a few clicks be able to send an instant monetary voucher which can be redeemed in-store only.
Chief Executive David Bottomley said: “As a Club, we have been proactive in sourcing new ways to generate revenue, particularly with the challenges of COVID-19 and the impact it has had through 2020.
We have invested heavily in our new Club Shop website and this new solution, a first for football in the UK, enhances our offering with ease of digital gifting remotely, whilst supporting the Club with redemption in store.”
HOW TO PURCHASE
To purchase a gift voucher, visit our online Club Shop HERE and click on the ‘Gift Voucher’ tab.
This will direct you to Rochdale AFC’s digital voucher page on the Pressi website, where you can input the amount you wish to gift and add your personal message. The voucher can be sent immediately or scheduled for a future date and time, e.g. Christmas Day at 09.00!
Then, enter your purchase details and input the recipient details. Once finalised, you will receive a confirmation receipt, and the recipient will receive their gift voucher.
The recipient must then redeem their voucher in-store and any unspent funds are resent for redemption at a later date. It is valid for a year from date of issue. The voucher cannot be redeemed via online shopping.
