An important update on Dale Lotto
As you will be aware, because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have currently had to suspend Dale Lotto due to the majority of our members paying cash via a doorstep Agent.
Our doorstep lottery has served the Club and community for many years, providing vital income for Rochdale AFC, and we know that our loyal Agents have gone above and beyond to proudly help us maintain a strong Football Club presence within the local community. However, it is with an extremely heavy heart that the Board of Directors have taken the difficult decision to end our doorstep lottery service.
This is a decision that has not been taken lightly, but it is one that has had to be made as we adapt to deal with the continued impact of this pandemic.
We are eager to recommence our lottery as soon as possible. Therefore, we are asking all cash payers to sign up to our Dale Lotto from as little as £1 per week by Direct Debit.
Dale Lotto is a vital income stream for the Football Club and all funds raised directly support the Rochdale AFC Academy, which is a fundamental building block in the existence of the Football Club.
By playing Dale Lotto, you not only have the chance to win CASH PRIZES every week, but you are also directly supporting the future of Rochdale AFC. Every week, we pay out hundreds of pounds in cash prizes, along with money can’t buy football experiences.
We need a minimum number of paying members in order to recommence the lottery. Once we have achieved enough members paying via Direct Debit, our current rollover funds (£4,000) will be used to create 4 x £1,000 winners in the first four weeks of Dale Lotto recommencing.
The Club would like to offer its sincere gratitude and thanks to all of the loyal Agents for their hard work and efforts for Rochdale Football Club over many years and for providing an invaluable service to our members.
Our current cash paying members have been sent a letter with the above information on, as well as information on how to sign up via Direct Debit. We have also written separately to Agents.
