Club & Community Trust Offering Help To Those In Isolation

21 March 2020

Rochdale AFC value and pride itself on being a community, family-based Club.

With the current, ongoing situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak, we are aware that some members of our community are unable to carry out their usual daily activities.

We are here to help.

From Monday, Dale In The Community Trust and Club staff are offering their services locally, should they be needed, to those who are in self-isolation or require assistance.

We are looking specifically at senior citizens, vulnerable people or those working for the emergency services, i.e. nurses, etc.

Whether that be picking up groceries or walking the dog; whatever it may be, we will find a way help.

All you need to do is ring the Club on 01706644648, leave your details, let us know how we can help, and we will do our best to do so.

All Club officials will have their RAFC identification badges to hand and will follow all Government advice regarding social distancing and precautions.

From Monday 23rd, the following Community Trust staff will be on hand to help:

Monday – Liam Whitehead & Ste Lorimer;

Tuesday – Shireen Bisping & Emily Harrison;

Wednesday – Emma Flynn & Eddie Flynn;

Thursday – Siobhan McElhinney & Keith Hicks;

Friday – Michael Beardsley & Graham Hicks.

The Community Trust are also in daily contact with its Dale Silver 60s group to ensure they have everything they need at this unprecedented time.

Furthermore, keep your eye out for social media in the coming weeks, as both Club and Community accounts will be running competitions that youngsters can get involved in during this isolation period!
