Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce that Smith Metals have extended their sponsorship of the Smith Metals Family Stand for a further 12 months.
RAFC Commercial Director Frances Fielding said: “I would like to express our sincere thanks to Smith Metals for extending their sponsorship with the Club. It has been testing times for businesses these past few months, and this loyalty and support from Smith Metals is magnificent and sends a clear message to everybody that the Dale is back in business.”
Jason Wilson, Smith Metals Managing Director said: “It’s been a difficult few months for our business and we have had to make adjustments within the company, but we are happy to help the Club, especially in times like this, and are extremely proud to be able to continue our sponsorship of the Smith Metals Family Stand.”
Smith Metals have been sponsoring Dale for over 30 years. The company was originally established in Rochdale but soon outgrew the premises and successfully relocated to Bolton. However, the owners have remained devout Dale fans.
Supporters will be able to purchase tickets for the Smith Metals Family Stand via our new ticketing system which is being launched at the end of July. Online purchases will be made much easier and our new bar-coded entry system means you can just scan your ticket or phone to access the stadium! More details will be announced soon.
