Both Dale and Wycombe Wanderers will wear change strips for Saturday’s encounter, in support of the hosts’ ‘Anything But Blue’ matchday.
Wycombe are encouraging fans to banish the January blues in support of the Chiltern Samaritans.
Fans are encouraged to wear bright, alternative colours to the game, which falls on the weekend of Blue Monday, reportedly the most depressing day of the year in the UK with increased rates of suicide, particularly amongst men.
Dale will wear our pink kit, whilst Wycombe will be in their yellow change strip.
As well as the ‘anything but blue’ dress code, there’ll be live music, giveaways and more entertainment throughout the matchday, with more details to follow. Chiltern Samaritans will be on hand to issue guidance on the services they provide to those in need, and collect cash donations to support their ongoing work.
