TVOS Preview | Tranmere Rovers

14 February 2020

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Tranmere Rovers.

The programme starts with a front cover image of defender Eoghan O’Connell, who has been a consistent performer at the back for Dale in his first season at the club.

Manager Brian Barry-Murphy looks forward to his team playing at home again after two away games, while also refreshing memories of the opening day win away to Saturday’s opponents.

After that the programme is packed with features, including:

MY TEAM-MATES – Jay Lynch reveals which of his team-mates is the last to buy a round

BACK OF THE NET – a whole-season article focusing on the exploits of Dale’s top 25 goalscorers of all-time, this time with Chris Dagnall

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO? – A simple question that precedes an article wondering wistfully about a former Granada TV favourite

We have action photos from the games against Burton, Gillingham and Accrington, while our historical pages – ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ – will help readers to jog their Dale memory banks.

Regular contributors Scrutator, Brian Quigley, Steven Rittey and John Rowe are also back with their thought-provoking and opinionated columns.

Visitors Tranmere Rovers receive extensive coverage, including a look at three previous meetings from the angle of the kits worn by both teams.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
