TVOS Preview | Coventry City

21 February 2020

Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Saturday’s League One fixture against Coventry City.

The programme starts with a front cover image of defender Rhys Norrington-Davies, who has impressed supporters after joining Dale on-loan from Sheffield United last summer.

Manager Brian Barry-Murphy looks forward to the game against a Coventry side he describes as ‘arguably the best technical team in the league’, while also explaining how having a free week has helped his preparation for the match.

After that the programme is packed with features, including:

MY TEAM-MATES – Callum Camps reveals which of his team-mates never stops moaning;

BACK OF THE NET – a whole-season article focusing on the exploits of Dale’s top 25 goalscorers of all-time, this time with Jimmy Wynn;

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO? – A simple question that precedes an article wondering about games played on snow;

Traveller’s Tales reports on the trip to Newcastle and we have action photos from the games against Newcastle (home) and Bolton.

Our historical pages – ‘On This Day’ and ‘Through The Years’ – will help readers to jog their Dale memory banks, while regular contributors Scrutator, Brian Quigley, Steven Rittey and John Rowe are back with their thought-provoking and informative columns.

Visitors Coventry City receive extensive coverage, including a look at three previous meetings from the angle of the kits worn by both teams.

All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
