Brad Wade was named in the Non-League Paper’s National League North Team of the Day for his performance at the weekend.
The goalkeeper, on-loan at Guiseley AFC, made a number of fine saves in his side’s 2-2 draw against Gateshead.
The Lions took a two-goal lead, but visitors Gateshead clawed their way back into it and equalised late on.
Wade’s performance stood out though, as he also picked up the sponsor’s Man of the Match award, as well Guiseley’s Twitter Man of the Match, voted for by the fans.
Fabio Tavares’ Curzon Ashton saw their game against Gloucester City fall foul of the weather, as did Colne FC’s match against Ponte Colls and Ashton Athletic’s game against Congleton Town, meaning no action for Lewis Bradley, Harrison Hopper and Adam Cullen.
