Everyone at Rochdale Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Alistair Linden.
For around a decade, Alistair had, until a few short weeks ago, been the Club’s first Safeguarding & Education Officer, before a short but brave battle against ill-health.
Not only did he play a huge part in the development of the Academy, he was also responsible for the Health and Safety policies and procedures at the Club.
Academy players and graduates, past and present, owe a great debt to him. He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.
The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with Lisa, Rowan, Ewan and all of Alistair’s family and friends at this difficult time.
