Long-time supporter David Clegg (pictured above) was the first to purchase a Season Card when they went on sale on Saturday morning.
Mr Clegg was up bright and early, so he arrived at the Crown Oil Arena more than two hours before the Ticket Office was due to open to make sure he secured a seat in the Main Stand for the 2020/21 campaign!
“I hadn’t really intended on coming at that time, but I was awake, so I thought that I might as well get up and come and wait because I wanted a Season Ticket. I got here at around 6.45am,” said Mr Clegg.
“I stood outside for around half an hour before a Club employee arrived and very kindly offered me a seat inside the Main Reception. Thank you very much to him for that!”
He continued: “I’ve been a Season Ticket holder for a very long time, for over 20 years.
“My favourite memory is going to Wembley – we didn't win, but it was an experience that’ll I never forget.
“I’m looking forward to the season ahead. I’m hopeful and I’m optimistic. My message to Brian and the players is: Keeping going – that’s all you can do. Don’t give up!”
