Everyone at Rochdale Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of former player Colin Parry.
Colin sadly passed away last week at the age of 79.
A key figure in Dale’s first ever promotion season in 1968/69, the centre-half joined Rochdale from Stockport County in the summer of 1968. Missing only one game during the historic campaign, he went on to make 169 appearances for the Club during his time at Spotland.
Born and bred in Stockport, Colin spent much of his career at his hometown Club, although he also had spells at Bradford City and Macclesfield Town.
The thoughts of everyone at Rochdale Football Club are with all of Colin’s family and friends at this sad time.
