Fancy owning a piece of Dale history? Would you like a programme from a game that never took place?
Programmes from Dale’s postponed home match versus Tranmere Rovers in February will available for sale in the Club Shop later this week.
The game was rearranged for Tuesday 17th March, but due to the cessation of the EFL a week earlier and the subsequent cancellation of League One, the fixture was never played.
The usual 76-page ‘The Voice of Spotland’ had been produced for the original 15th February date and the intention was to sell those issues on the new date a month later, but unfortunately that never happened!
We could be wrong, but we think this is a first in Dale history – a programme was printed for a game which never happened!
Copies can be purchased in the Club Shop or they can be ordered online when the new online Shop launches later this week, priced at £3.
