Captain Ian Henderson has been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month Award for August.
It follows an impressive month for Rochdale, where the side only lost once in eight games.
Sky Bet say: ‘Never one to conform, Henderson’s three goals in six games included two of League One’s most aesthetically pleasing goals in August - the deftest of lobs at Tranmere and the final touch to a slick team move against Southend’.
Hendo is up against Ipswich Town’s Kayden Jackson, Marcus Maddison from Peterborough United and Lincoln City’s Josh Vickers to be crowned as the month’s best.
The winner will be announced on Friday 13th September 2019.
The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
