Rhys Norrington-Davies has joined up with his Wales U21 team-mates ahead of their upcoming UEFA U21 Euro 2021 qualifiers.
The side face Belgium at Wrexham’s Racecourse Ground on Friday 6th September (5pm KO), before hosting Germany at the same venue on Tuesday 10th September (7pm KO).
Manager Brian Barry-Murphy is delighted for the full-back.
“His call-up is very deserved,” said BBM.
“Rhys has been amazing. His commitment to the lads is incredible, and it’s great for him to go and experience a different type of football in a different environment.
“Anybody we have who can go away on international duty is a huge boost for the club, and, also, in this case, the parent club. Our lads are all a tight knit unit and they are very pleased for him.
“Rhys is treated like one of our own players and we tend to forget that he’s Sheffield United’s player, which is testament to himself and everybody at the club.
“Everyone has warmed to him straight away because his personality is infectious. His skill levels and the way he plays the game is brilliant and we’re very privileged to have him in our care for this season.”
