Luke Matheson helped England Under-18s to a 1-0 victory over Czech Republic on Monday.
The Rochdale Academy graduate earned his fifth Under-18s cap for his country, as England rounded off their international break with a win at the Pinatar Arena.
Matheson started in Thursday’s 5-2 win against Russia and appeared as a late substitute in the 4-4 draw with Norway, helping England recover from 4-2 down at the time of his introduction.
It was the 17-year-old’s second call-up to the England Under-18 side, after making two appearances for them last month.
The full-back made his international debut in February of this year, when he was called up to the England Under-17 side, making three appearances.
