Luke Matheson won his third England Under-18s cap on Thursday, helping them to a 5-2 win over Russia.
The full-back started in the game at Pinatar Arena, which was England’s first of three matches they will play at the venue over the coming days.
They face Norway on Saturday, before rounding off their trip against Czech Republic on Monday.
It is the second time the Rochdale Academy graduate has been called up the Under-18 squad, appearing twice last month. Matheson was also called up to the Under-17 squad in February earlier this year.
