Ian Henderson has been named as the Ladbrokes Northwest Football Awards’ League One Player of the Year.
The Dale skipper was announced as the winner at Monday night’s awards evening, held at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford.
He beat off stiff competition in Accrington Stanley’s Sean McConville, Blackpool’s Curtis Tilt and Fleetwood Town’s Wes Burns.
The 34-year-old scored 21 goals in all competitions last season, and has racked up nine already this campaign, as he closes in on becoming the Club’s all-time record goal scorer.
In the Rising Star of the Year category, Dale’s Luke Matheson was pipped to the award by Liverpool and England international Trent Alexander-Arnold.
