Everyone at Rochdale Football Club is saddened to learn of the passing of former player, Ted Burgin.
The 91-year-old, a member of our 1962 League Cup Final team, passed away peacefully in the early hours of this morning following a lengthy illness.
Ted joined Dale in 1960 and spent six seasons at Spotland, making 234 appearances in all competitions.
Sincerest condolences from all at the Club go to his wife Heather and son Glynn. Our thoughts are with them at this sad time.
