We would like to say a huge thank you to all of the volunteers who turned out on Saturday to plant up our fantastic Wonder Wall, in memory of Rochdale AFC Director Paul Hazlehurst.
Over 35 volunteers helped out, aged from 4 to 80, and included members of the Rochdale Environmental Action Group, Rochdale In Bloom, local residents, Dale staff and supporters.

We would also like to thank our Wonder Wall sponsors Crown Oil and Gordon Rigg Garden Centre, as well as Rochdale In Bloom sponsors the Co-Op, and H Bells & Sons also came along to spruce up our road side planters.
This year, we are going for a hat-trick! We’re aiming to win the North West In Bloom Competition for the Outstanding (Level 5) It’s Your Neighbourhood Award for the third year in a row. This is the highest award in the community category.
We are extremely proud of the Wonder Wall and the impact it has had in the local community, creating a colourful corridor along Sandy Lane and keeping the Crown Oil Arena on side.
