Soil From Crown Oil Arena Pitch Donated To Local Junior Club

13 June 2019

The soil removed from the Crown Oil Arena pitch during recent renovations has been put to good use this week.

It has been donated to local junior side Wardle Football Club, who will be using the soil to level the pitch at their Rutherford Park home.

Wardle Juniors have teams ranging from Under-7s right through to Under-16s, and we are delighted to be helping out a local grassroots club.

Our thanks go to waste removal experts RTK Grab Hire, who transported the soil this week.

Contractors completed works on the Crown Oil Arena pitch last week, with the growing period now underway. Click HERE to read about this summer’s renovations.
