- Rekeil was born in Leeds on September 1st 1997.
- He joined Huddersfield at U12 level from local junior side Rothwell Juniors.
- The 21-year-old progressed through the ranks at the Club before going on to represent the Terriers’ U21 squad from the age of 17.
- Rekeil has enjoyed loan spells at Wrexham AFC, Colchester United and Port Vale.
- He hit the post, had one disallowed, bagged an assist and won the Man of the Match award, as Wrexham beat Maidenhead 1-0 in his last outing before being recalled early from his loan spell at the Racecourse Ground by his parent Club.
- He earned the nickname ‘Backheel Pyke’ during his time at Wrexham, after netting three backheeled goals.
