The contract of Brendan Moore has been terminated by mutual consent to allow him to return home to America.
He leaves the club with immediate effect and we wish him every success in the future.
On the goalkeeper’s departure, Manager Keith Hill commented: “Brendan’s decision came out of the blue but I’ve listened to him, and from a compassionate point of view, I understand his desires and I won’t stand in his way.
“There is a certain amount of bravery to come and knock on my door and explain how things have materialised, so I respect and admire for him that. He’s been playing first team football but emotionally and due to his family ties, he has come to the decision that he wants to go back home and forge a career in the USA. I’ve reluctantly agreed to that because it’s the right thing to do for Brendan.
“I’d like to thank him for everything he has done for us and wish him all the best for the future.”
Good luck, Brendan. Thanks for your dedication and hard-work during your time at the club!
