Rochdale Football Club can confirm that Matty Gillam has joined League of Ireland Premier Division side Cork City on loan.
The Rochdale Academy product has joined the Rebel Army until July.
Gillam has been with the Club since he was 16-years-old, and scored on his debut against Hartlepool United in the Checkatrade Trophy in November 2016.
He signed professional terms at Rochdale in the summer of 2017, before signing a new two-year deal in 2018.
The forward has made 14 appearances for Dale so far this season, scoring twice.
Cork's first match of the 2019 season is away to St Patrick's Athletic FC on Friday night.
