Rochdale Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Andy Lonergan's stay at the Club has been extended.
He joined from Championship side Middlesbrough last week under the EFL's seven-day emergency loan deal, following an injury to Josh Lillis.
That deal has now been renewed for another seven days.
Lonergan made his Dale debut in last weekend's game against Coventry City, and manager Keith Hill is pleased to have the experienced stopper in the squad.
"I thought he did well against Coventry on Saturday. He made a great save during the course of the game.
"He's got great experience and he'll help us whilst Josh Lillis is injured.
"Josh is two or three weeks away from being fit, so it's important that we've got that experience and knowledge in Andy."
