Manager Keith Hill on Jimmy Keohane who has joined the Club until the end of the season…
“Jimmy is a warrior and he’s someone who can dig in. He has got an unbelievable attitude, application and desire,” said Hill.
“He’s a water carrier and he does an unbelievable function. He’s someone we needed to complement the squad, someone who can do all the shifts that I expect if we are in real trouble.
“He has come in as an exceptional squad player, who is going to drive us and drive the squad, and I thought it was important that I had that type of player because I don’t think we’ve had that type of player since Stephen Dawson was here. That real driver, the one who was going to grab everyone by the scruff of the neck.
“There will be times when it’s going to be really hard for us and we need characters like him. He’s here to provide a massive function for the squad as we go into the depths of the season, and having spoken to him, he will do.”
