Millie O’Shea is the mascot leading the teams out before kick-off when Dale take on Sunderland at the Crown Oil Arena on Tuesday night.
A player for the Rochdale AFC Ladies Open Age team, Millie is bravely battling cancer for the second time.
She has not been able to take part in any activities for the last eight months due to her condition, but is determined to get back to normality in the near future.
When Millie is back to full fitness, she will begin her BTEC Scholarship with us at Rochdale AFC, as well as returning to playing for the Ladies team.
From everyone at Rochdale AFC, we hope you have a fantastic night and we wish you a speedy recovery!
