12 April 2019

Portsmouth v Rochdale | Fratton Park, Sky Bet League One, Saturday 13th April 2019, 3pm Kick-Off

Dale hit the road again with a trip to the south coast to face automatic promotion chasing Portsmouth.

Tuesday night’s 1-0 win over Accrington Stanley saw Dale move out of the relegation zone and into 19th.

Pompey are on a four-match winning run in the league, and also picked up the Checkatrade Trophy title a fortnight ago, beating Sunderland on penalties.

Kenny Jackett’s side were 3-1 winners over Dale at the Crown Oil Arena earlier this season.

Portsmouth boss Jackett said: “The new manager has done very well and achieved both good results and performances.

“We never look at any game as being easy and know that every point we collect is hard-earned – we showed that last week.”
