Residents of Rochdale can expect a friendly knock on their doors as the Lottery department’s team of canvassers make their way around the Borough in a bid to reach out to supporters.

The primary focus of the door-to-door campaign is to recruit new members into the recently launched Dale Lotto, raising vital funds for the Rochdale AFC Academy and youth development programme.

Those who take the opportunity to join will be helping to support the day-to-day running of the Academy, finance training facilities & equipment and provide quality coaching for all of our Academy and Youth players.

Those choosing to sign up with our friendly team of canvassers also have the option to support the lottery’s chosen charity partner - The Barry Kilby Prostate Cancer Appeal – which, following the success of the first testing day earlier in 2019 will help go to fund the next PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood testing of local men at the Crown Oil Arena.

Our canvassers have received comprehensive training enabling them to speak on behalf of your Club and you can be sure that they truly represent Rochdale AFC.
