Our Academy’s Under-14 side will play at the Crown Oil Arena on Wednesday (1st May), in the final of the Under-14s Floodlit Trophy.
They take on Bolton Wanderers, with kick-off at 7pm.
The tournament, organised by the Rochdale AFC Academy, provides the Under-14s with an opportunity to play competitive football.
Two groups of five teams faced each other in a round robin format, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the semi-finals.
Dale faced Oldham Athletic, Burnley, Blackburn Rovers and Bolton in the Western group, finishing top of the pile with five wins from eight games.
The Eastern group consisted of Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Bradford City and Leeds United.
Dale went on to beat Barnsley 9-4 in the semi-final, putting them through to Wednesday night’s final.
