The Joshua McCormack Family Enclosure, inside the Smith Metals Family Stand, is the perfect place for home supporters with children to enjoy the match.
Families are free to use other areas of the ground if they prefer but it’s hoped that the Family Enclosure will continue to grow in popularity and will become the go-to area for those bringing kids to support the Dale.
Blocks Y and Z, located closest to the Main Stand, are our recommended sections for those aged 16 and under and their families.
New for this season, we’ve introduced a designated Family Steward - Stephen Roberts (pictured above with his friend Desmond the Dragon). He will be located around the enclosure area, so if you’re coming to Saturday’s game against Gillingham and need any assistance, please do not hesitate to approach Stephen for help.
Here at Rochdale Football Club, we fully support the EFL’s 'Enjoy The Match' campaign. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy on foul and abusive language, racial, homophobic or prejudice chanting. We hope that you will never be subjected to such abuse or have to witness this, but if you do, please notify Stephen immediately to raise your concern.
As well as being able to meet Desmond the Dragon, who will be happy to stop for high fives and photos/ selfies, our FREE Junior Workshops are held every Saturday matchday in the Carlsberg Lounge, located within the Smith Metals Stand. So far this season, youngsters have taken part in a FIFA competition and handled curious critters! Your favourite superheros/ Disney/ TV characters might even be in attendance during the season.
