Our Dale’s Silver 60s are hosting their very own Macmillan Coffee Day on Wednesday 26th September!
The group, set up by the Dale In The Community Sports Trust, are welcoming all members of the public to the event which will run between 1pm-3pm.
Simply come to the Main Reception at the Crown Oil Arena during this time and grab yourself a coffee and cake in exchange for a small donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee morning is set to take place on Friday 28th September, and all donations to the Coffee Day at the club will go to Macmillan.
Last year alone, £27million was raised for Macmillan through their coffee mornings across the country. Since the first Coffee Morning in 1990, over £200million has been raised for Macmillan in aid of helping people with cancer.
Dale’s Silver 60s is open to senior citizens in the Rochdale borough, with activities such as walking football/netball, mat bowls, cards and they are always looking to welcome new members.
The group takes place between 1pm-4pm every Wednesday with free transport available to those wishing to attend as well as refreshments throughout the day.
We hope to see you there!
