Dale In The Community Sports Trust staff members are cycling to Saturday’s match at Bradford City in aid of The Christie Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Keith Hicks, Siobhan McElhinny and Mark Pilling, along with Graham Hicks, are cycling the 36 miles from the Crown Oil Arena to Valley Parade, in time for the Sky Bet League One game between Dale and Bradford City.
“It’s for a superb cause,” said Head of Community Keith Hicks.
“It’s going to be a tough one, especially tackling the heights of Blackstone Edge, but it will be worth it to support the fantastic work of the The Christie Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Support.
“My wife, Kathryn, is currently undergoing cancer treatment, so I have experienced first-hand the incredible work that these two organiations put in on a daily basis.
“We would be really grateful of any donation, big or small. Every little helps!”
