Bucket Collection To Be Held At Saturday’s Game For WHAG

23 November 2018

A bucket collection will be held at Saturday’s game against Accrington Stanley to raise money for WHAG.

WHAG is a charity that was founded in Rochdale 1981. WHAG offers support to women who are homeless or who are at risk of homelessness, as well as men, women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.

As part of awareness raising, and in addition to the bucket collection, WHAG are highlighting the White Ribbon campaign that aims to end male violence against women, once and for all.

Rochdale Football Club are supporting WHAG to take a stand against sexism and gender-based violence in all forms. The players will wear a White Ribbon during the pre-match warm-up to show their support.
