We're All Ready To Go - Bradley

12 November 2018

Lewis Bradley says the Youth Team are ready for their FA Youth Cup second round tie against MK Dons.

They face the Milton Keynes outfit at the Crown Oil Arena on Monday night, and second-year scholar Bradley says the squad are excited for the game.

“I can’t wait for it,” he said.

“We know it’s a big game. We’re all ready to go and we’re really excited for it.

“We’re here everyday, but it’s a lot different when we get to play on the pitch, because it’s somewhere everyone hopes to be at one stage.

“I think we’re all ready for it and the nerves aren’t really getting to anyone at the moment, everyone is just confident for the game.”

Dale were convincing 3-0 winners over Doncaster Rovers in the first-round, a side who were unbeaten in their league campaign at that point.

“They’re a good team, Doncaster, so to beat them was great. To do it by keeping a clean sheet and by getting three goals was great, and we can’t wait to hopefully do it again.

“That was why it was so good to get a convincing win against them as well [because they were unbeaten].

“Not just to beat them, but to beat them by outclassing them was great.”

Bradley played in last season’s first-round defeat at Accrington Stanley, but thinks that has helped the Youth Team this time around.

“We all know how to lose having lost in the first-round last year.

“We all know that we’ve got to go out there and do our best, and hopefully the same result that happened against Doncaster will happen again.”
