Rochdale Football Club are delighted to issue the Dale Community Season Tickets to the Children’s Macmillan Team for Saturday’s game against Charlton Athletic.
Three families will be using the ten season tickets, which were purchased by the Board of Directors to be used by various community groups as the club aims to strengthen relationships across the Rochdale Borough.
All the families have a child that is currently receiving treatment for a childhood cancer and attending Saturday’s game will allow those families to take their minds off matters for a few hours at least.
Andrea Stevenson, Children’s Macmillan Nurse, said: “Attending the match will promote courage and confidence to face the next treatment.
“Please don’t under estimate what you are doing as a club, it gives a sense of belonging to the caring community that you are.
“Thank you on behalf of all these families.”
Rochdale AFC would like to thank all of the community groups that have visited the club this season using the Community Season Tickets, and we hope it has been a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
