Flashback | Rotherham United 2-3 Dale

9 March 2018

Ahead of this weekend's clash at Rotherham United, we take a look back at a previous visit to the The AESSEAL New York Stadium.

The Millers moved into their new home in the summer of 2012, and were unbeaten in their first three league games there.

Dale's start to the season had been mixed on their return to League Two, but went into the midweek game off the back of a 2-1 win at AFC Wimbledon on the Saturday.

And the visitors took the lead on the stroke of half-time through Dele Adebola, only to see the home side turn the game around with two goals in six second-half minutes, through Alex Revell and Daniel Nardiello.

However, Dale would the turn the game on its head again. Bobby Grant's penalty 15 minutes from time levelled matters, before Kevin McIntyre's strike from the edge of the area four minutes later sealed all three points.

Dale XI | Lillis, Rafferty, Bennett, R Edwards, P Edwards, McIntyre, Kennedy, Tutte, Grant, Donnelly, Adebola.
